Apple Requirements

In order to ensure your App is kept up to date within the Apple App store, there are a few requirements mandated by Apple that must be completely in a timely manner.

iOS Distribution Certificate

The iOS Distribution Certificate is associated with your Apple Developer Account and is renewed annually on your behalf by the Clubhouse Online team. This certificate allows for updates to be published to the Apple version of your club's custom Moblie App. In order for this certificate to be renewed annaully, all periodic Apple Developer License Agreements pertaining to your club's Apple Developer Account must be reviewed and agreed to by the Account Holder.

What to do?

Should you receive a notification regarding the renewal of your iOS Distribution Certificate, please log into your Apple Developer Account and ensure there are no outstanding Apple agreements awaiting approval. If your Developer Account is up to date, the iOS Distribution Certificate will be renewed automatically for you.

Apple Push Services Certificate

The Apple Push Services Certificate is associated with your Apple Developer Account and is renewed annually on your behalf by the Clubhouse Online team. This ceritifcate allows your club's Custom App to send out push notifications to those in your membership who have the app installed on a mobile device. In order for this certificate to be renewed annaully, all periodic Apple Developer License Agreements pertaining to your club's Apple Developer Account must be reviewed and agreed to by the account administrator.

What to do?

Should you receive a notification regarding the renewal of your Apple Push Services Certificate, please log into your Apple Developer Account and ensure there are no outstanding Apple license agreements awaiting approval. If your Apple Developer Account is up to date, the Apple Push Services Certificate will be renewed automatically for you.

Apple Developer Account

Your club's Apple Developer Account is directly connected to you club's Custom App that appears in the Apple App store. This Developer Account directly allows the Clubhouse Online team to release new features as well as update existing functionality when necessary. In order for these processes to occur on a timely basis, your Apple Developer Account must have the following kept up to date:
  • Yearly Developer Program Subscription - This is the yearly subscription fee that is due to keep your Developer Account active. This can be setup for auto-renewal with Apple or payment can be remitted manually. For more information on this click on the 'Learn More' button on the bottom right.
  • Developer License Agreements - Throughout the year Apple will update various policies and features associated with your Developer Account. While these updates do not directly affect your club's Custom App, they are required to be reviewd and agreed upon to allow any future updates to be processed for your club's App. The Administrator of the Developer Account is notified by e-mail whenever a new license agreement has been issued. In order to review and process these license agreements the administrator will need to login to the Developer Account where they will be prompted to review and agree to the terms. 2-Factor Authentication

In an effort to keep your Apple Developer Account more secure, Apple has implemented a mandetory 2-factor authentication for Account Holders of their developer program. Your Apple developer account is linked to your club's custom mobile app in the Apple App Store. It also provides us access to update your app with newly released features as well as renew your iOS Distribution and Apple Push Services certificates. As of  February 27th2019, the 2-factor authentication will be required in order to sign in to your Apple Developer Account. Privacy Policy

In order for your Clubhouse Online app to appear in any of the app stores, it must be accompanied with a Privacy Policy. This policy is exclusively for your club and is not associated nor can it be updated on your behalf by Jonas Club Software. Your Privacy Policy was previously provided to us via a URL that would be listed in the Apple App Store alongside your app. Should the URL associated with your Privacy Policy change, please notify the Web Support team at websupport@jonasclub.com.
