When linking a page it said "child pages are not supported on the app".

When linking a page it said “child pages are not supported on the mobile app”. What exactly does this mean?

On the full site we refer to a main page (that displays directly on the navigation bar) as a Parent page and a sub page (that displays in the drop down menu below) as a Child Page.

On the Mobile App, all the pages that have been set up in the Mobile App section will appear as a parent page. This means the child pages will NOT appear as a sub-page. Instead it will appear in the same column when using the Super Menu on the mobile app. (The three lines in the top left corner with the word Menu underneath on the mobile app is called the Super Menu.)

That's why when you try and link a child page on the Mobile App it says “child pages are not supported on the mobile app”. A Child Page on the Full Site can be linked into the Mobile App section, it just appears as a Parent Page in the Mobile App instead of a Child Page.

To have a Child Page appear on the Mobile Site (not Mobile App), it can be linked separately. Follow the instructions found here.

Link a Parent Page on the Mobile App

When linking a Parent Page (ex. About page), leave "Link also all child pages" unchecked - this feature does not work in the Mobile App.

To have a Child Page appear on the Mobile App, the Child Page needs to be linked Link separately (ex. Contact page).

Below is an example of the Mobile App section in the Content Tree after a page is linked to the Full Site (ex. About and Contact pages).
