How to Create a Pricing Code

In this section you will find information on Pricing Codes

Event Pricing / Pricing Codes

• Pricing Codes in Jonas Activity Management/Encore will appear as Event Pricing Online
• These are created in Jonas Activity Management/Encore and are tied to POS items that are created in Jonas Management
• These POS items are then synchronized to Jonas Activity Management/Encore based on the Jonas Management Sales Categories 

Creating a Pricing Code

1. Go to Event Management > Additional Options > Setups > Pricing Codes
2. Select NEW
3. Description: give the Pricing Code an appropriate name
   •  Hint: if applying an age to this, consider including the age limit in the name
4. Registration Fee POS Item: choose your desired POS item to be applied to this Pricing Code
   • Note: these POS items are then synchronized to Jonas Activity Management based on the Jonas Management Sales Categories
   • Note: you can override the price of the POS item on per event basis in the event itself for both members and/or guests
5. Age Classification: specify whether the Pricing Code is applicable to: Senior, Adult or Child
   •  Why? For reporting purposes
6. Active: allows you to determine if this Pricing Code is available for use in the system
7. Pricing Code may be used for Age Applied Events: enable this option if you wish to apply an age limit to this Pricing Code
8. Maximum Age for this Pricing Code: input the maximum age for the Pricing Code
   • Note re: Minimum Age: the minimum age is determined in one of two ways
     • The Minimum Age set by the Event (via Parameters > General > Minimum Age)
     • Another Pricing Code applied to the "Same Event" with a "lower Maximum Age"
9. Save
