Widget Type - Image and Text Quick Links

The Image and Text Quick Links widget is a set of 3 or 4 cards (your choice). Each card will display an image, title, teaser text and a link. The widget is configured by adding/selecting an image, title, teaser text and URL for each card, with the option of a colour or image background for the widget.

 Available in the following Content Blocks: Extra Large

Requirements: Pre-built pages if re-directing to internal pages on the site

Configuration

Any field marked with a red asterisk (*) is required in order to save the widget. Once all the applicable fields have been configured, click Save & Close to save the widget. 
Default
  • Theme: choose between 1 of 3 custom themes that have been applied to the website
  • Background: choose between Image or Colour for the background
    • Colour: allows you to set the background as a solid colour based on the selected theme's secondary colour
    • Image: allows you to add an image by clicking Select and choosing the image from the Media Libraries
  • Number of Cards:* choose between 3 or 4 cards
  • Image Size:* choose between 1 of 3 options via the drop down:
    • 16:9: the image will take up more than half of the card
    • 1:1: the image will take up less than half of the card
    • Background Image: the image will display as the background of the card
Card Settings
Add the following fields for each card:
  • Image Source:* choose an image by clicking Select and choosing the image from the Media Libaries
  • Image alt text: text that will appear in place of the image if it is not loading on the user's web browser, and can also be read by a screen reader
  • Title:* enter a title for the card
  • Teaser Text:* enter a short description for the card
  • Link URL:* click Select and choose where the user will be directed to when they click on the card 
    • Web: if you want to link to an external site
    • Media Libraries: if you want to link to a PDF
    • Content Tree: if you want to link to an internal page; select the page on the Content Tree that you want to link to
