Widget Type - Latest News with Feature Article

The Latest News with Feature Article widget will display the 3 most recent blog posts from the selected Blog page type. The widget is configured by selecting a pre-built Blog page type. The most recent post will include its teaser image above the post, with the additional 2 posts appearing in the right column without a teaser image. All 3 posts will include the post date, post title and blog post summary. 

Available in the following Content Blocks: Extra Large, Large, Small

Requirements: Blog Page Type and minimum 1 blog post

Configuration

Default
Any field marked with a red asterisk (*) is required in order to save the widget. Once all the applicable fields have been configured, click Save & Close to save the widget.
  • Theme: choose between 1 of 3 custom themes that have been applied to the website
  • Title: enter the title you would like to see atop your news items
  • Path:* click Select to choose the Blog page type from the Content Tree that you would like to utilize within the widget. The Blog page type must already be built in order to add it to the widget
  • Display All Teaser Images: clicking on the check box will display the teaser images for the second and third most recent articles
  • News Title Alignment: set the alignment for News Title, either Left, Center or Right
  • News Date Alignment: set the alignment for the Date of the News, either Left, Center or Right
  • News Summary Alignment: set the alignment for News Summary, either Left, Center or Right
Advanced (Optional) settings
  • Title Alignment:* use the drop down to align the title to the left, center or right
  • Title Size: use the drop down to override the size of the Widget title
  • Margins:​
    • Top: use slider to select margin measured in pixels
    • Bottom: user slider to select margin measured in pixels
  • Override Padding: check the box to use the following settings:
    • Top: use slider to select padding measured in pixels
    • Bottom: user slider to select padding measured in pixels
